Children's Ministry

Overview

We belive we are to train children into warriors for God by co-partnering with their parents.  Raising children from an early age to understand our relationship with God is important to us. Beginning at birth, a child's constant questioning and learning can be quite challenging. How do you begin to explain God to a young child? 2 Timothy 3:14-15 says: "Continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know that from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus."

From this Scripture, we realize that Timothy was taught about God from the time he was a baby and was raised to know God. A newborn baby does not have the same learning skills as a six-year old; however, a child is always growing, learning, and processing new information. As children are raised to know God, it is important to understand that each layer builds upon the previous, and that in understanding the nature and character of God, it is never too soon to discuss and teach these things to them. Many truths from the Bible can be understood by a small child, and although they may not be able to understand a truth completely, they will become better understood as they naturally mature. 

We believe children possess extraordinary gifts that are accessible now and seek to provide an environment that supports training and releasing of these gifts.
