The Joseph Company was founded by David and Loretta Hoole in 2004 to fulfill the desire, God placed in their hearts, to see the church grow in passion for Jesus and experience true intimacy with Him.
1996 began a transformation in their lives as an intense desire to seek the Lord grew within them that they had never experienced before. Out of this deeper level of hunger and passion for Jesus, they embarked on a new mission - to encourage the American church to come into greater intimacy with Jesus. They believe that out of this intimacy will flow true ministry as God gives direction and the power of God is released to touch their communities for Christ.
Raised in a pastor's home, David Hoole learned at a young age the hazards as well as the blessings of pastoral ministry. While David had never intended to enter into full time vocational ministry, through a series of events that the Lord orchestrated, he found himself right in the middle of it. David and Loretta's first years in pastoral ministry began by developing a large children's ministry that ministered to hundreds every week in which several thousand were brought to Christ over a 10 year period. They authored several years of children's ministries curriculum, as well as, a study for new believer's, which has been shared across numerous denominations. Over a period of 21 years they were senior pastors of two growing churches in Oregon. For the past two and one half years they have traveled in ministry as the Lord opens doors. It is their belief that out of a greater intimacy with Jesus Christ flows the ministry that is directed by God instead of the programs of man. Encouraging people in this intimacy has become the focus of their ministry.
